Welcome to Seedlings Infant Toddler Center!

Where Curiosity Leads, Language Blooms, and Childhood Guides

At Seedlings, we see every child as capable, curious, and full of potential. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and the Project Approach, our program nurtures early learning through meaningful exploration, rich relationships, and creative expression.

From infancy through toddlerhood, children are immersed in an environment that encourages natural communication and cultural connection. Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed to invite discovery, dialogue, and collaboration—where learning emerges through play, inquiry, and long-term projects that reflect the children’s interests.

With caring, bilingual educators as guides and co-learners, we foster a deep sense of belonging, curiosity, and joy. We invite you to join a community where language and learning grow hand in hand—and every moment is full of possibility.

"Our task regarding creativity is to help children climb their own mountains."

-Loris Malaguzzi

Our Philosophy

At Seedlings, our mission is to cultivate a nurturing and respectful environment where infants and toddlers are empowered to explore, express, and engage with the world around them. Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy and the Project Approach, we honor each child as a capable, curious individual with a unique voice and the right to be an active participant in their own learning journey. Through collaborative exploration, meaningful relationships, and thoughtful environments, we support the development of confident, compassionate, and creative thinkers from the very beginning.

About Us

At Seedlings Infant and Toddler Center, we are a Reggio Emilia- and Project Approach-inspired program for infants and toddlers, located just next door to The Garden Community Preschool. We offer a warm, responsive environment where the earliest years of life are honored as a time of immense growth, discovery, and joy.

We believe children are born with natural curiosity, creativity, and the desire to connect. Our role is to nurture those qualities by providing rich, meaningful experiences and relationships that support each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Through long-term projects, open-ended materials, and daily routines rooted in respect and consistency, our educators co-construct learning alongside the children.

What Sets Us Apart:

  • Spanish Exposure: Children are exposed to the Spanish language through songs, stories, conversation, and play, laying the foundation for bilingualism in a natural, joyful way.

  • Inspired Philosophy: We draw from the Reggio Emilia approach and Project Approach to create an emergent, inquiry-based curriculum that follows the children’s interests.

  • Connected Community: Our location next to The Garden Community Preschool allows us to foster continuity, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging for children and families.

  • Thoughtfully Designed Spaces: Our environment is the “third teacher”—inviting, open-ended, and reflective of the children’s ideas, culture, and creativity.

We are more than a daycare—we are a nurturing community where relationships are foundational, play is purposeful, and children are respected as powerful protagonists in their own learning journeys.

We’d love to welcome you and your child into our growing community!

Meet the Teachers

MS. JACKIE, Director

With ten years of experience in early childhood education, Jackie brings to Seedlings a wealth of knowledge and expertise. She loves creating strong relationships with the children and families that she serves, and her favorite aspect of teaching is seeing the growth in the children’s development. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education with a minor in psychology and plans to work as a director here at Seedlings for as long as possible. In her free time, Jackie enjoys reading, tending to her many houseplants, and spending time with her husband and daughter, her dog Opie, and her box turtle Strawberry Lemonade.
